I'm a natural light, lifestyle photographer. What this means to me is, instead of taking photos of you all looking picture-perfect, smiling cheesily at the camera, I will guide you to be your natural selves and will capture genuine love, emotion and connection between you and your family.

These take place during golden hour, which is the time of day just after sunrise or just before sunset - where the light is beautiful, flattering and well, just generally pretty magical! The time of this obviously changes quite a lot depending on the season, and in summer, this can make the start times either early in the morning or later in the evening. If you have really little kids I totally understand how off-putting that sounds! I have a 5 year old and a 1 year old and I HATE messing with their sleep - but I can promise you, for this one day, it is totally worth the small disruption and will make your photos extra special!

Oh.... let's count on it! as a mama myself, I absolutely understand this fear (and the reality of it too!) But don't worry - I've got a few tricks up my sleeve. I encourage to try to let it roll off your shoulders as much as possible and just go with the flow. I know how hard it can be to stay calm when you feel pressure to look and act a certain way, so I assure you there is no pressure here! We can work around most big feelings and after the kids get to know me a bit, they almost truly enjoy the session.
